We are very excited to be a participating venue for South Sounds Music Festival 2013. This year’s second annual music event will span three days April 12-14. South Sounds Music Festival is held in conjunction with Arts Alive festival. This year The Malaga Inn will be hosting The Pollies, Belle Adair, Payne and Ground level Control. They will all be performing acoustic sets in the courtyard. We are honored to be a part of this budding music festival that show cases great southern art with all the greatest new southern bands. Bay Fest 2012 was a fabulous success. Tens of thousands poured into Downtown Mobile to hear the sounds of Willie Nelson, Pretty Lights, Micheal Franti and Al Green to name a few. On Saturday afternoon our guests enjoyed the beautiful weather and live music in the courtyard provided by local singer/songwriter Ryan Balthrop. Bay Fest is always the first weekend in October. We hope you will join us next year for Bay Fest 2013. Make your reservations early!

Included are observations of nature and wildlife by a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast; posters from the United States Sport Art Museum and Archives. In addition, see an exhibition by William Bradley Parnell, creator of the William Bradley clothing line and winner of the design of Mobile Fashion Week 2011.

From the Malaga Inn, venture over to the Farm to Table Dinner. Taste the fresh locally grown foods at the Farm to Table Dinner. This Four course dinner is prepared by local chefs Tuesday, September 25, 6 to 9 pm at the Jon Archer Agricultural Center in Mobile Alabama, 1070 Schillinger Rd. N. Mobile, AL.

The cost is $65 per person and Reservations are available until September 12th.

Steady Pace 5K Run Walk Against Obesity

Join this years 5K Run or Walk to help fight Obesity. Help Mobile, AL become healthier and encourage a fit lifestyle. This is a citywide awareness movement. The race will be held within a highly concentrated urban area of Mobile, AL. This 5K run walk is unique, specifically designed to create awareness about childhood and adult obesity within the Mobile, AL area.
