Come on out to the oak-lined Main Street of Olde Towne Daphne, AL and celebrate the culture of Mobile Bay’s eastern shore. The annual Jubilee Festival of Arts attracts thousands to the area each year and you’re invited!
Nearly 100 arts and crafts vendors from the community and region will be on hand and are the core of the festival. They’ll showcase the very best in both functional and decorative handcrafted items like jewelry, paintings, pottery, sculpture, wood, mixed media, and more.
Jubilee Festival of Arts also means lots of great food! Local food trucks, restaurants, and chefs will be out in force, offering their finest. Hamburgers, chicken wings, gourmet waffles, ice cream sundaes, kettle corn, and more.
Speaking of food, another big draw to the festival is the World Food Championships Qualifiers. Qualifying events at the Jubilee Festival of Arts include the Sandwich Category and the Preferred Chef Category. 6 chefs in each category will compete in public to create the best sandwich or signature dish using an ingredient found during Jubilee. The Sandwich Qualifier takes place on Saturday, the Preferred Chef Qualifier Sunday. Winners will advance to the World Food Championships in Orange Beach, November 7-11, 2018.
Other attractions include Kids’ Art in the Park, a High School Art Competition, live entertainment, and Southern Makers.
Southern Makers is an opportunity to see handmade items come to life right before your eyes. You’ll also have the chance to ask questions and learn the process, inspiration, and more from the makers, themselves.
Perhaps best of all, admission to this family-friendly festival is FREE!
