Mobile BayBears 2019The Mobile BayBears are moving to Madison, AL in 2020, making the 2019 season your last chance to see the team in action, here on their home field.

Come root them on at Hank Aaron Stadium while you still can!

The Mobile BayBears were founded in 1997 as part of the Minor League Baseball’s Southern League and a Double-A affiliate of Anaheim’s Los Angeles Angels.

The team went on to win 4 Southern League titles. They were also named “Minor League Team of the Year” by Baseball America in 1998 and 2011.

The BayBears have provided over 150 players to Major League teams over the years, including All-Stars Max Scherzer, Paul Goldschmidt, Jake Peavy, Carlos Gonzalez, and Justin Upton. The BayBears

After the 2019 season, the Mobile BayBears will move to Madison, AL and become … the Rocket City Trash Pandas.

Mobile BayBears at Hank Aaron Stadium

BayBears home games are played in beautiful Hank Aaron Stadium (755 Bolling Brothers Blvd, Mobile, AL 36606).

Baseball legend Hank Aaron had his start here in Mobile and the stadium also houses the Hank Aaron Childhood Home and Museum. Both are less than 10 minutes from Malaga Inn, so be sure to check them out if you can.

The Hank Aaron Childhood Home and MuseumHank Aaron, one of baseball’s most iconic figures, had his humble beginnings right here in Mobile, Alabama. You can visit those early days and more at the Hank Aaron Childhood Home and Museum!

Hank Aaron’s achievements are legend and continue to cast a long shadow on the sport to this very day. His beginnings, however, were as humble as one can get. Much of his early days and career have been preserved and are on display at the Hank Aaron Childhood Home and Museum.

The museum, located appropriately enough at Hank Aaron Stadium, home of the Mobile BayBears, is the original Aaron family home.
