It's almost time for Dauphin Street Beer Festival 2018, the 21st annual return of Mobile, AL's popular, downtown beer fest! Now that the festival has reached legal drinking age, it's bound to be more fun than ever before! 6pm to 9pm, August 25th, 2018.
Dauphin Street Beer Festival 2018 continues a long standing Mobile tradition that started back in 1997. Since that first festival, the beer fest has only increased in scope and popularity. The annual August event draws both visitors and residents to downtown Mobile from all around the region.
The festival takes place in downtown Mobile and is more of a pub-crawl than your typical stationary beer tasting. Attendees spend the evening sampling beers at a variety of downtown venues. More than 30 different Mobile restaurants and bars participate, with samples of more than 90 different beers available.
Dauphin Street Beer Festival's primary focus is craft beers. Most of the beer offered will be locally or regionally made beers and ciders. Craft beer fans will be pleased to see a host of popular favorites, plus a chance to taste and discover new beers.
While details are still coming together, past events have started off at a specific venue, like the Crescent Theater. Attendees receive a wristband, keepsake mug, a map of participating venues, and your first beer sample of the evening! Because Alabama law requires you to have a membership to enter private clubs, you'll also receive a temporary membership card.
