Mobile's outdoor ice-skating rink, Riverside Ice, is back! Open Now through January 14th, Riverside Ice gives you the opportunity to skate alongside the Mobile River.
Riverside Ice opened on November 19th this year and continues to be a popular attraction for Mobile visitors and residents alike. And no wonder!
Situated along the river, the Riverside Ice ice-skating rink is right on Mobile's waterfront, with the beautiful Mobile skyline as a backdrop.
The rink is open every day of the week. Mondays through Thursdays from 11 am to 10 pm, Fridays and Saturdays, 11 to 11, and Sundays from noon to 8 pm.
Has it been a long time since you've strapped on a pair of ice-skates? Never worn a pair? No problem! You can learn at Riverside Ice. Lessons are available for only $15 at the outside rink every Saturday for kids and every Sunday for adults, through January 10th. Private lessons are also available.
More than just a skating rink, Riverside Ice also has a schedule of special events lined up. While many of the events on the list have already passed, more are on their way!
Every Tuesday night is Family Night> Any child, accompanied by at least one adult receives free admission. Hot chocolate, hand-crafted cocktails, and food will be provided by The Galley, Yellow Hammer Coffee, and Corrine’s Rolling Kitchen.
Student Nights are every Thursday. Students with a valid student ID will receive a $2 discount on admission.
Movie Nights include a showing of a classic holiday film while you skate! Family movie nights are scheduled for Tuesdays, from 5 pm to 9 pm. Friday Night movies, 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
