Here are some popular contenders: Container Ship Exhibit Hall It's hard to not be stunned by the first thing you see when you step inside the museum. GulfQuest's container ship of museum exhibits isn't just full sized. It's also stacked high with containers, surrounded by water, and appears to thrum with the sounds of its engines! Take the Helm Theater Navigate vessels around the Port of Mobile, Mobile Bay, and Tombigbee River on this simulator used to train professional boat pilots. Pick a scenario, weather conditions, and time of day, then take the controls and test your skills! America's Sea This large, interactive map is the centerpiece of the Grand Lobby and allows you to explore all around the Gulf of Mexico. Four separate stations present the topics of Exploration, Combat, Commerce, and Environment. Ocean Planet Theater Engage with real satellite data and other images, projected onto a suspended, six-foot diameter, globe of our amazing ocean planet.

Luckily, the museum also houses the only waterfront and outdoor dining on the Mobile River: The Galley cafe.
